Many seniors count on their pets for companionship especially those who live alone. With many seniors living at or below the poverty line some struggle with the cost of pet ownership. Some will share their meals with their pets or feed them before they eat themselves. This can cause the senior and their pet to become undernourished and underweight. The Humane Society of Oldham County and Feeders Pet Supply are committed to supporting our homebound senior neighbors and their beloved pets by providing pet food, supplies and basic vet care.
